Tonight I'm going to go home and reset all the default settings. Then I'll try the Shaw box + Bluray directly into the TV separately (no receiver). If both these work then its clearly a setting on the receiver. I'll then try running them through the receiver (separately) and seeing if its an MCACC setting. This should at least isolate every component.

Just remembered that I do know that in the MCACC settings the HDMI option isnt available for the BD HDMI slot. I cant find any settings to allow that one to be HDMI, yet there is an HDMI IN tagged BD.
