first of all, congrats! I'd love to be in your place (someday, now's not good) nasty comments and all. I guess it's part of childberth?

But I can't understand what would cause women to say something like that.

I know from my days working retail on more than one occassion (no offense always a woman, but this happened rarely) they'd comment on how skinny I was, and not the "not fat" I sad one woman say to me one day "WOW YOU'RE SKINNY!!! Do you eat?!?!?!"

I felt like saying "WOW YOU'RE FAT! Ever hear of weightwatchers!"

One day I guess I gave this lady and her elderly mother a weird look when they commented on how skinny I was. They back peddled like you wouldn't believe "uhhh my husband's like that you know, I find it attractive, ughhh I really like skinny people, there's nothing wrong with that"


To be fair there are men out there that do the samething (hell when I was between sober and drunk last weekend I was saying stuff I shouldn't have to a friend of mine).

Some people are just idiots, others are in the stage between being sober and drunk and the mouth works faster than the brain.
