I could go on, and all of the above are cheap (lacrosse does require eqiupment).
Of course they are not sprinting for 90 minutes, but anyone who's played the game will tell you that, the constant stop/go action of the game can be brutal. The big part of soccer is that fact you have to play hard for a long time....it's a combination of power, endurance and skill. It's like hockey, but without the line changes.

All of the sports you mentioned are tough, and not easy to play, although again, neither Wrestling or Lacrosse go on as long as a soccer match. And doesn't box lacrosse have line changes?

Rugby's a hard game to play, no doubt.
