quick points, there is no sprint for the full time, I would suggest there are a number of other sports that are as physically challanging if not more so:
  • Rugby: all players are required to have a large aerobic and anaerobic capacity, as well as significant strenght
  • Lacrosse: I would suggest both box and field are challenging
  • Wrestling (olympic or grecco roman): very well conditioned
I could go on, and all of the above are cheap (lacrosse does require eqiupment).
