The 712N is nice, though it doesn't have a DVI interface which does have an impact on the display quality.

I'm looking at that exact Samsung right now.
My first LCD, I'm quite happy with it. Quite clear, decent quality. So far, so good. No problems whatsoever. Had it for about a year now.
My parents got a Dell LCD monitor, I like mine better.
