But I shouldn't complain that much though as it's only the time I have to wait for the next season which really irritates me. I've long since gone to using my computer to tape episodes and then watch them commercial free and often back to back. Probably the best way is to just watch sports live and then catch everything else on DVD where you can watch the whole thing in a weekend.

What do you think it takes to create a season of a show like Lost? The producers are typically editing the finale up until a few hours before it airs. The sets, props, location scenes are all probably the most complex on TV. This isn't Two and a Half Men It takes a long time to create a season. People wanted more epissodes so they released them when they were done. People complained. Then they broke it into 2 parts. People complained. Now they are starting late so they can run the shows back to back and people are complaining.
