Default Flyer Fire Ted Nolan

Flyers Fire Nolan & Hire McLellan

Philadelphia - After their fifth loss in a row, the Flyers relieved Ted Nolan of his duties. The Flayers started the season strong but lack of depth has caught up to them and now Nolan. The Flyers only sit 2 points out of last in the conference.

"Things weren't working out this year and going forward we needed a coach with more emphasis on offense." Said Schum.

With that, a new coach in Todd McLellan takes over the reigns. Signing one year deal worth $300 000. There is a very good chance McLellan will be brought back next year.

"He works well with forwards and is very knowledgeable with defense as well. He has a chance to prove himself and he will be given a chance to grow with our young team." Said Schum.

Todd McLellan will coach his first CPHL game tomorrow at him against the Leafs.
