I saw Colm Wilkinson play Jean Valjean in a special Les Miserable at the Princess of Wales Theater in Toronto back in 1998 (I first saw Les Mis at The Royal Alex in '93 with Michael Burgess as Valjaen). This is a CD that I have never regretted purchasing and the emotion that comes through on this performance really enhances the listening pleasure.
