I think people are confusing the two threads - this one is called "Worst purchase ever" and the other is "Most embarrassing purchase", pretty big difference. I wouldn't think condoms would fit in the worst purchase, but can slightly understand them fitting in most embarrassing.

So back on topic, my worst purchase ever would have to be a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. Bought it brand new and hated it within a month. What a boring car to drive. If you want the V6 you can't have the manual transmission, so I went with the automatic for the bigger engine. A front wheel drive automatic...yawn. Sold it a year later for a '98 F-150 XLT 4x4, and loved every minute of that truck!
