Then, a few hours later I got my truck stuck in a thick puddle that was deeper than the clearance of my truck so mud started to seep in. Eventually, I had about 3" of muddy water inside my truck. Ruined my amp and some 6x9s.
I tried and tried to get unstuck, but all I did was cram my clutch full of mud to the point that it wouldn't engage. I thought I fried it, but after taking it out, all I had to do was clean out the compressor thingy that I don't know the name of. And that took place at U-Wrench in Calgary. I had to get towed out to the highway by another kind soul and then call a tow truck to get it taken to U-Wrench. That turned out to be a long, expensive and generally crappy weekend.

Hey... that kind of thing happens all the time.... well not the part about smashing into the poor unlucky good samaritan's truck.... but other parts are pretty common place.
I know what happened to the kids in the Alaska story was terrible... but when you look back at it and read the story about one disaster after another, I couldn't help but start laughing. I could so see myself in his story!
