Sorry to hear about your sad news Prottotype. I understand completely the kind of guilt you are feeling, since I have had to deal with the loss of high school friends as well. Keeping in touch is easy when you spend eight hours a day under the same roof, it is only natural to lose sync with many high school friends when you begin to develop independent careers, families, and interests. Losing friends your age also gives you shivers when you realize you aren't as invincible as you thought when in school.
Perhaps there is some comfort in that she died in her sleep, and was not suffering for any long period of time, and it is a real blessing she did not have the Aneurysm while still carrying the baby, perishing both. Hopefully, her final days were filled with the joy of having her new child.
