so look at that florida beat 4 top ten teams and 2 number ones. I think your point is flawed. these were the rankings as the teams played not the final rankings.
Your way of looking at it is flawed.

Why should Florida get credit for beating a #4 in LSU when it's quite apparent now that they were vastly over-ranked in the pre-season polls and didn't even finish in the top 25 of the AP poll?

Auburn started the season at #10. Tennessee at #18. They both finished 5-7. It's pretty obvious that the SEC was over-rated at the start of the season. Florida shouldn't benefit from that.
