Well... I noticed that when I was trying to watch videos on Apple's website in Firefox on my MBP, the video would have this white flickering flash thing going on and it was driving me nuts. So I tried the site in Safari and it worked fine.
Then I started going to other sites with Safari and noticed that pages were loading a lot faster, page elements seemed to fit a lot tighter and all the media elements were responding quicker and smoother.
I have a good eye for this stuff. I've been building websites and media for (and supporting) browsers since all the way back to Mosaic and Netscape 1. It's not like I was biased, either... I love Firefox. But I noticed right away how much smoother everything was in Safari.
I didn't switch right away, though, because of all my FF plugins. Once I discovered Ad Block Plus works for Safari too, I started to get serious about giving it a shot. So far, I'm pretty happy with it.
PS: I have no clue why, but I seem to have this weird OCD thing with putting commas everywhere...
