Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers at the Coutts crossing seized the firearms, including one semi-automatic machine pistol, 11 high-capacity magazines and 300 rounds of ammunition while examining a vehicle entering Canada from the U.S. last Saturday.

He'll appear Jan. 28 in Lethbridge court. The seizure was the result of a joint investigation by the CBSA and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

They were saying on the radio that one of the weapons was called a house buster or something like that, capable of 800 rounds-per-minute, and that the weapons were probably destined for Calgary.
