I travel there quite a bit, and it's hands down my favorite food. It's light, lots of veggies, and if you eat enough kimchi you will build up a natural defence to SARS. (okay, that last part is a myth, but it gives me an excuse to eat A LOT of it every time I go).
I'd recommend beef bulgogi to anyone. In fact, I might go for some tonight!

Have to agree though that nothing comes close to the real experience. Now I have a craving for Kalbi, damn you Lethbridge and your lack of good eateries.
