According to Apple, though, this "built-in" battery has an 8 hour charge, will take up to 1000 charges, and lasts up to 5 years.
So, even if the battery falls short of those expectations, it's still going to last you a while. Also, they have a battery replacement option... you'll just have to take it in and get it done. Assuming it can be done at a Mac store, it's not that big of a deal to drive to Market Mall and get your battery replaced.
