Huh? I just drove that route last weekend. There aren't lights down there. There's the lights at Cranston and then at Chapparell. Inbetween, just a nice, long straightaway that has a bridge. No, I'm not advocating going 150 there today, but I'm saying that it could be done in the right conditions.
And I suppose going 130 in certain spots on Crowchild wouldn't be over the top. And maybe on Glenmore in a couple of places. And on Shaganappi. And on 16th. And on a few other roads...
I got called on it in a pm and I have to agree that it's not exactly insane to do it. But you have to really not care about your license. And also, I was kinda picturing places where going 50 over was more like doubling the limit. Like Elbow Drive.
