Looks like I am heading to SE Asia for 6 weeks....April and 1/2 of May. I am assuming that there are a few world travellers on the site...

Can I get some tips on where to go and what to see? ...and I know about places like Angkor Wat, the Killing Fields and Koh Phangan/Samui. I am looking for some places that I wouldn't know about. What is there to see in Laos? Where are great places in Vietnam? Awesome beaches that are not covered in tourists? Can't Miss Photo ops?
