I really wanted my first pick to be a goaltender. Obviously, Mike Vernon was who I wanted. I am still sticking with a goaltender in the event I get stuck with Trevor Kidd or Ken Wregget so....

With the 4th choice in the CP All-Time Flames Draft, StrayBullet and Team "Channels 2&7 Loves You" selects, Miikka Kiprusoff.

In just 300 games with the Calgary Flames, Miikka Kiprusoff has already earned 169 wins, 26 shutouts and a Vezina Trophy award from 2006. For the Flames to have such a workhorse and a confident goaltender is something this franchise has not seen since Mike Vernon and after Kiprusoff the drop on goalie talent falls way off.
