I do understand what you’re getting at, and yes it would be great if both teams had equal days off…. BUT both teams know heading into the tournament that if you want that extra night heading into the Championship game then all you have to do is earn it. It’s not an advantage to one team over the other as ALL four teams had an equal chance at earning the No.1 seed it just happens the loosing team doesn’t.

I agree, all teams know the format and they are equal going into the Memorial cup. As a fan I just do not like the format. All the games were really exciting to watch except the final (I watched the game and it was the worst game I seen). Its like that every year. The organizers need to make a change.
