Surprised that no one has mentioned this, but if you install winamp, then the ml_ipod plugin, you can just use winamp to manage your ipod. No issues with only being tied to one computer, you can move music on to or off of your (or anyone else's) ipod with impunity, and I prefer it to itunes' interface. Used it for about a year and a half, and I'm much happier with my ipod since I started. Only issue... it may not work with the iphone or the new touch, I know they were having issues with that a couple months ago, but I know they're working on it.
