Yeah, Uni is one of those things that can often make a person sound holier than thou, or like they are being conceited but I know a lot of people who just couldn't handle it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying if you fail at University you fail at life. My sister got frickin Ds in HS but did excellent in Uni, and I know of people who were the opposite.

Others I know are really successful at stuff like welding etc that require little academic schooling and lots of on the job learning that I would likely fail miserably at. To each his own for sure, University is not a good fit for everyone, and there are lots of other opportunities for people who aren't cut out for it. I certainly don't attribute going to Uni as being higher in rank than doing anything else, because you can still be very successful without it.
