My buddy, who only completed one course, if that, at Mt Royal was quite offended. I am not knocking Mt Royal, but wow are their courses easier than the U of C.
Going to Uni is a big step and I for one am proud that I have been keeping my head above water. It is not for everyone that is for sure. I really don't want this post to sound condescending but University is an entirely different entity than anything else, some people are better off going other places, doing apprentices, and that sort of thing.

Very true.
My brother studied civil engineering at SAIT finishing in the top of his class. When finished he decided to go the University route to get his degree. Lasted 2 months and dropped out as he found he was in way over his head. Found the standards and requirements quite higher.
Myself, i went the way of SAIT and studied business admin. Uni was out of the question for me as i didn't have the grades to get in.
