That's a good idea. If you are a real dork, and I qualify, the worst records out there can have some kitsch value to boot.
I just stumbled across a little blurb on the front page of the business section of the Herald.
No link, but the "headline" reads "Vinyl Record sales double" then goes on to explain that 1.88 million records were sold in the States last year, up from 990,000 the year before. This benefits independent record stores, because they sell 2/3rds of all the vinyl. CD sales fell 20% last year while digital album sales rose 32% to 66 million.
