Strange thing is, with routers there are probably a bajillion (give or take one or two) makes and models, and I strongly doubt one maker is totally competent or the other it totally incompetent.
Thats said, I'm using a Linksys WRT54G v2.2 with Hyperwrt2.1b1 & Thibor 15c firmware. Seems to work well, so I have no reason to change.

Yeah yeah... psst... Mac's are totally better.
As far as I've heard, the Linksys WRT54G with one of the opensource firmware upgrades is the single best home router solution out there. I just stay away because it's a Wireless G unit, and that just seems... ghetto.
