You see, it does matter during the regular season to play well, as you are rewarded with chance to win it all at seasons end.

College football....not so much since it only comes down to two clubs even having a chance to win it all.

What you're telling me is that an NHL game in December has more of an impact on winning it all than a regular season NCAA game.

In college it matters a hell of a lot more to play well...win all your games and you'll be there almost every time.

What does your opinion of NHL hockey vs. NCAA football have anything to do with it?

Either way there's a lot people with vested interest in the teams playing in bowls before January 8th, but apparently they don't count. Just because you don't care doesn't mean there's tons of people who don't either.
