Harrington wasn't drafted first overall. He was drafted third behind David Carr and Mike Williams (Bills RT), if I'm not mistaken.
The other two big mistakes they made were drafting those two WR's in the top five in back to back years. Both were busts.
How did they let it get so bad? Two words: Matt Millen.
