Years back I was up really late watching a movie. Suddenly there's a knock on my door. This is about 2 am. But I'm so engrossed in the movie I don't really clue into how late it is. I just hop off my couch, go to the door and open it.
As dude starts coming through it suddenly occurs to me that "WDF! It's like 2 am!". I manage to slam the door back on him and prevent him from coming in. He continues to pound away on the door, mumbling away, and occasionally shouting.
I fetch my big 'ol wooden baseball bat that I keep under my bed and go back to the front door. He sees it but continues to knock and mumble so I swing it through the air in an effort to show him what's in store for him if I decide to open my door again.
That seems to work as he rambles off.
Didn't sleep the rest of the night.
