This guy isn't 3x as much, maybe 50% more. But it does make the difference between being fully covered by insurance and having to pay out of pocket.

Asking my wife for the optometrist's name, though I don't want to rag on him if it is in fact illegal. I did find something about it being illegal but it looked like that was in the UK.
