At least it allows Holmgren to finish off his (franchise changing) career with SEA on a high and with some dignity at home. Can't say enough about that guy and him instilling an expected tradition of winning from those Dave Krieg 8-8 meh teams I watched growing up through the 80's and 90's every Sunday on TV.
Make no mistake though, the Jets lost this, more than SEA won. Hopefully this last spurt continues to keep SEA in a decent draft spot (albeit a weak draft by all accounts) and doesn't trick Mora into thinking Wallace is irreplaceable as backup next year.
Esiason on CBS took it personal after the game about Manjini's decsion making, and made some "told you so" quip about Pennington while pimping his NYC radio show and how Manjini as going to get lit up on it tomorrow. Pretty unprofessional.
