Last year my eldest son, 2 years old and still an only child at the time, was deathly afraid of Santa. He saw Santa sitting on his chair and he refused to go see him, so we dropped the matter. This year he was ok with seeing Santa. There was no lineup at the time we went so we walked right up, he sat on Santa's lap, and then on Santa's other lap we put our 10 month old, who looked at Santa and immediately started crying. At which point our oldest didn't like the crying and dropped his head and pouted. They snapped a picture at the right time, our infant had a look on his face of concentration, you wouldn't know he was crying unless we told you and our eldest was looking at the youngest and the pout wasn't on his face. Not a great picture but we weren't going to force it. It was kinda funny though, it was the first time I had seen my youngest son react with such panic... the other time.
