I was in Tuk and Inuvik for a month a few years ago. Pretty cold up there. -50 plus windchill was pretty common. Since I was decked out in arctic gear, it wasn't so bad. Not as bad as my camping trip from hell where I slept on rocks on the river bank while it snowed, then walked through the river first thing in the morning. That was probably the coldest I've ever been.
I contend that you've not been truly cold until you've pissed on your own feet to warm them up.
