As a Cavaliers fan this trade scares the **** out of me. Shawn Marion is one of the most overrated players in the league, and I really like the way the Cavs are playing right now.

To say that this team lacks defense or toughness or rebounding, is absolutely ridiculous. Do you watch basketball? Cleveland is the top defensive team in the NBA right now, allowing only 90 points per game. They have the third best rebounding differential in the NBA also, at +5.08 per game.

They're 20-4, and to mess with that and acquire someone as overrated and as much a liability as Shawn Marion would be downright stupid.

His production has fallen so far from when he was in Phoenix, especially his shooting percentages, which show you just how much of an impact having Steve Nash dish you the ball actually makes.

Michael Redd would fit nicely, on the other hand, as someone else suggested. The guy is a career .388 shooter from 3-point land, averages over 20 a game for his career which not many people can say, and is in his athletic prime at 29 years old, so he can learn the Cavs defensive system and fit in pretty easily.
