I head that they were going to be on Charlie Rose, but I missed it...feel free to elaborate more (after the episode, if it has anything to do with the finale) when you get a chance.

The interview was very good, but a lot if it was about character issues in general (what do you think about your character, your process for acting, how you feel about acting on the show, etc., etc.) that didn't stick in my head.
Some things that did stick:
Keifer was absolutely dead-set against the ending of season 1 (I'll leave it unsaid just incase you've managed to avoid finding out about it) but now agrees that it was definately the right choice.
Keifer would go on playing Jack Bauer for the rest of his career, but worries that fans will find it hard to believe that these things keep happening to the same guy, so the show may have to move on to another lead.
FOX approached the producers to franchise the show a la CSI and Law & Order but they turned them down as they felt that there are only a handful of writers who can work with the show's unique format properly.
Initially FOX was demanding that each episode be resolved by the end of the hour rather than the cliffhanger format they currently use, but the producers refused to change.
They have lots of fans in the CIA and other intelligence agencies who will ofter give them advice on how to approach certain situations in a realistic manner.
In one scene in a past season they had to use a set worker's cellphone in a scene after the prop one broke. Evidently there was a split second shot of the phone showing the number which fans noticed and started calling. Rather than getting the phone shut off they just kept it going and people from the show were constantly chatting with fans about the show.
That's all off the top of my head. I'll edit if I think of anything else.
