Or looking at it slightly different, good discussions/debates have to have 'clash' and I am willing to be the other side of that clash. When I first started posting on boards like this in 1996(?) there were so few posters that discussions did not take off unless people were willing to polarize their stances a bit.
I am not going to take the other side of a debate and then apologize if someones feelings get hurt though, people need to be confident enough in their opinion that my stance doesn't matter - if that makes sense?
Outside of that I am a pretty happy, confident, out-going, super-flirty (with girls!) type guy though, like 'life of the party' kind of thing...

He's a good guy in person. We met on a white water rafting trip that we had a mutual friend on, and somehow Calgarypuck came up around the campfire and I had to ask the awkward question if he was in the same internet message board as me
Then I ran into him at a pub when he was with one of my old high school friends that he plays soccer with. Small world!
