I guess Harper learned too late that principles and honor dont matter in the House of Commons.
Huh?

No, I think Harper learned too late about cooperating and compromising and treating MPs who WANT to represent your party with respect and courtesy. (Actually, he still hasn't learned)

Otherwise he'd still have Stronach and possibly Cadman and Brison and who knows who else?

Quite simply Harper does not have the social skills (or desire) to mend fences...something VERY imporant in any leader. Instead he has run to your friendly neighbourhood seperatist party in an attempt to power-whore his way into office. And run caucus like a dictatorship....a poorly run one.

Remember, the reasons the Libs run this minority governemnt is because of Harper's failure to capitalize during the last election...when Canadians were p*ssed over the Ad scandal, the PCs and Alliance had just merged, Paul Martin was a rookie PM and people in Quebec were mad at the Libs but not overly enamoured with the Bloc either. It was all there on a silver platter for Harper, but he was rejected BIG-TIME.

Harper is a huge and disgusting failure. I almost wish there was an election so he could fall on his face again (with the help of White, Stinson, Anders and Thompson of course) and then the CPC could get a new leader that perhaps I could support.
