How am I a hypocrite? I contribute, people who milk the system do not. I am not bitching about my mortgage one bit. I am happy to pay it every two weeks. Why? Because when I am done, I will own a home.
Don't tax me (the upper-middle class) to the balls when every month when the welfare cheques go out, the first thing is a cab ride to the beer store and a cab ride home.
I have no time for prople who don't contribute to society because in the end, the hard-working people in this world suffer because of them.

Well wouldn't you rather the government ran the banks as a not for profit business so that we didn't have to pay fees and rates could be lower?
You're complaining about a certain segment of society stealing your money while you let another segment (corporations) completely off the hook. Which is kind of funny since you'd think we'd have a bigger problem with rich CEO's and shareholders stealing our money than we would with mentally disabled people, emotionally unstable people, etc. But we're kind of brainwashed about corporations into believing that's the only way it has to be and that they provide a great service for us.
I'd also suggest that most of the hard working people in our society are not "suffering" as you put it as much as a lot of the people on welfare are. Sorry if I don't have as much sympathy for your suffering compared to someone who needs help to function at a basic level in our society.
