Being on a "high-horse" suggest that I think I'm perfect. That's not the case. I know I have faults and I would have no problem talking about them.
We judge each other all the time. This is a forum. You put your thoughts out there and then people read it and judge it. If someone doesn't want to come across as selfish they don't have to suggest cutting off welfare and shipping those people elsewhere so that they can make a little more money. I think it's a pretty easy judgement to make, one I think most of us would make. I'm not sure why you're so offended. If I said I hate blacks then you'd judge me a racist. If I suggest mentally disabled people should be shipped out of here so I don't have help them financially so that they can have a decent living then you'd judge me to be selfish.
We should hold each other to high standards IMO. It's not the easy way out but I think it helps us grow. If I say something selfish or cruel or what have you then society should let me know that's not the ideal. We do it when we raise children, are adults exempt from being held to a high standard? Should we expect everybody else to only look after their own self interest? Do we not have any values at all? [/b][/quote]
Again, at no time did I say I wanted to make more money. Hence my revelation of the price of my house and the cars I own.
Money is very far down the list for me.
