I have a 3 year contract and my bill comes to about $80-$85 per month. I haven't had any real issues with them so I can't speak of their customer service. This is one phone that I really don't mind having a three year contract with at all.
I really enjoy the my5 plan that I'm on. I came the cold realization when I bought the phone that I'm not the social all-star I used to be as everybody i call fits nicely into my5 plan. As people within the my5 don't count against my minutes I was able to go with the minimum talk package (150 minutes/month I believe).
edit: I admit I know nothing of Fido, they may be the better bet.
