One of my biggest is the whole "bleeding heart" sector of society. I just can't stand it. "Oh the poor homeless people - give them more money", "OH the poor welfare people - give them more money", please, for the love of all that is sacred SHUT UP. You know who gets to give them more and more money for doing nothing to contribute to society? Me. Joe (or Frank) middle class. I worked my ass off, put myself through University, paid off my STUDENT LOANS, bought a house, pay property tax and continually better myself and my family day after day yet I am continually punished for doing so. Enough! Instead of money, send them U-hauls. To Greenland.
Bizarre. Do you have a pretty good standard of living? Do you get all your needs looked after and a few perks on top of that? Shouldn't that be enough?

Or must we always have more money. Must we hoard and clutch at as much as we can get, especially at the expense of others who can't look after themselves as well as we can? Does the person with most money/toys at the end win? Does having $200 more a month make you a much happier and fulfilled person or is about more about relationships and how you spend your time?

Whether you like it or not they are people who are less equipped to do the things you're so proud of. There are people with mental problems, with emotional problems, people who grew up in very bad situations. Who's to say you wouldn't be walking the streets if you had grown up in a trailer park in an abusive situation where drugs were the norm and you had no positive examples to look up to? I don't think you can say that.

Pretty hard to judge some people until you've walked in their shoes or grown up in the environment they did. Our environment, friends and family have a huge effect on the type of person we grow up to be. Don't make the mistake of assuming everybody has the tools to be a successful person, because not all people do in our current society.

Your post strikes me as very selfish. I know it's hard sometimes to identify with or empathize with people we don't understand but it doesn't appear like you're making much of an effort. Maybe go talk to some kids that live in a trailer park with their drugged up single abusive parent and see if they are emotionally and mentally healthy and stable enough to be successful. Maybe try visiting a psych ward or talk to some people that have problems functioning.
