The worst job I had was during Stampede week when I was about 15 or 16. I was working for an African lady selling African art in the Big 4 or the Round Up, I don't remeber which. She didn't understand the concept of having a break or even taking lunch, and she expected me to be there when the gates opened until close, every single day. I would stand there and sell her crap without being able to rest, and even going to the bathroom made her give me dirty looks. She'd take breaks of course, but it wasn't okay for me.
I remember there was a concert on the Coca-Cola stage that I wanted to see, so I made up an excuse, saying my cousins were leaving and I was saying good bye to them...she told me if I wanted to say good bye to my cousins that I shouldn't bother coming back. So I went to the concert, and never went back.
