I guess... you'd (apparently) have to be a fotze-sized idiot to think that the person living down the street could blatantly hit you, and there's 'nothing you can do about it'. You know they're license and address. From the sounds of it, the accident should be pretty obvious for the authorities to figure out. They'd also charge the people if they lied about the accident.

How about YOU take responsibility for YOUR actions and damn the others. Losing control and yelling at the woman is not holding her responsible, it's being an ass. I'd be pretty surprised if above-victim was cool as a cucumber, and hubby came running out yelling at him first... doesn't sound like it went down like that (nor would I believe that).

The only thing called for, in this case, is an insurance settlement. If they don't want to say sorry, they don't have to. And you don't have to like it. That's the way it is. I suppose a temper-tantrum might be in order, if you're 12, but not if you're a grown man.
Of course, you and I may have differing versions of what a man is.
