Yeah, I've read some stuff about Messina but also about Blatt. Honestly I don't know enough about either of them to have any real judgement, but hiring a euro-league coach is a bigger risk than hiring a euro-league player; the whole team will suffer while the coach adapts to the NBA game. Still, both guys are cited as being likely to coach in the NBA at some point in their lives.
