Is there such a blog that can be added to the website that I can customize the look of the blog to mimic that of the website? Perhaps I should make the entire site with content management that way I can give permissions to one or two other people and I wouldn't have to be the guy who always updates the site. Any recommendations on which way to go?

Our business website does just that. We started with a static webpage and then added a news and events type section that can be updated more easily. Our web people recommended and installed wordpress to handle that. So far, it's done what we need it to do and it looks pretty much seamless with the rest of the site.
