Slightly OT...I think Harper made a serious error by introducing a fiscal update with so many provocative initiatives and showing a serious inability to collaborate...although he certainly has other great leadership qualities, this whole situation may have been avoidable if he wasn't such a prcik and he is lucky the opposition seems to get gobsmacked by routine tasks like a making a speech...if they were halfway competent he would definitely be in the opposition come 2009 IMO

If Parliment is parouged (sp?) the CPC will get through this simply because the coalition will keep walking into sharp objects for the next two months however the next time the CPC has a leadership convention Harper will suffer for this
