Somehow I could see the inter-jedi breeding being as sterile as possible.
Of course, lust can be possessive, possession can lead to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to the darkside.
There's probably a good reason why they swipe the younglings away so early... look how Anakin reacted to his mom.
The new trilogy really put the notion forward of monks... celibacy and all. Its too bad, Jedi could and should have been way more badass.
