Both are probably chosing the word purely for it's aliterative quality. The Huffington Post one is overwhelmingly in favour of the change in government, and is again using the word ironically. The Epoch Times uses the word in the URL, but not in the actual article. All things considered, it's not really a ringing condemnation from the international community.
