I think this thread is asking the wrong question.

The question ought to be whether you would support Alberta having a Referendum on the issue. Then once it is agreed to have the Referendum, then the question of whether you support seperation ought to be asked.

I, for one, think Alberta has to explain to people in the Province exactly what an independant Alberta would look like. It's all fine and dandy to talk about seperating - or leaving the abusive relationship - but you need to see what the alternatives will actually be and make an informed decision.
