Hell they could just use the old jedi handswipe and tell them "the intruders are on level 4" voila. Sabotage and escape.
The Jedi were wiped out by an equally powerful Sith force user and of course not all of them were.
Sith would simply send a delegation to the Borg, and we all know how that would work out for the Federation.
