This is a great thread for a hockey wannabe like myself! It gives me confidence to give it a try.
I'm planning on getting some skates for Christmas, and getting out there. I want to get the basics down before my son is old enough to play. I'm going to take a few lessons, and there's an instructional hockey league here as well. Ice time is limited as we only have one rink here in a city of 100,000.
Can anyone recommend some decent entry level skates? I tried on a few pairs this weekend and the most comfortable were the Easton S3 and the RBK 5K pump. I'm assuming whichever are the most comfortable would be the best. I have a wide foot, and the RBK seemed to be best for that. I haven't been able to try any Mission skates, any info on those?
Thanks in advance!
